How to Naturally Take Care of Your Hair
Branded shampoos, conditioner, and other hair care products are abundant in the market today. However, these products are full of chemicals that are actually toxic to nature and to you. Sodium Laureth Sulfate, for instance, is one of shampoo’s active ingredients. It can cause mutagenic effects. Limonene is another one. It is a hydrocarbon that poses risks to animals and plants through water contamination. You see, these chemically treated hair care products are actually doing more harm than good. So, it is advisable if you will just stick to natural hair care solutions.
Well, if you have dandruff, you can massage your scalp with virgin coconut oil. You can also boil the coconut oil with onions for around twenty minutes. Then, you can apply this mixture on your hair. Another effective solution is mustard and fenugreek paste. You just apply it on your hair and rinse afterwards. In addition, a mixture of gooseberry juice and almond oil works just as well. On the other hand, if you want to maintain your shiny and bouncy hair, you can apply castor oil on your scalp. You can also wash your hair with tea, or massage it with coconut oil. Moreover, you can apply a mixture of castor oil, glycerin, and egg white on your hair.
For your natural conditioner, you can mix warm water and a few drops of vinegar. Then, you can use this to rinse your hair. If you do this regularly, you will notice that your hair becomes bouncier. If deep conditioning is what you want, you can use egg, curd, and beer. Nonetheless, you can also use egg whites and henna to make your hair shinier and more beautiful. Furthermore, if you are having problems with graying hair, don’t worry because a mixture of egg, lemon juice, and coffee will do the trick. Just apply it to your hair and rinse after forty-five minutes.
Taking the time to look after you hair properly is so important. Especially when you consider the amount of abuse it has to endure such as hair straighteners, blow drying, chemicals and pollution.
